AMAZON TOP 5 HEADSETS
Hello everyone in this article we gonna give you the best sellers on amazon on the VR headset section. now i have to say beforehand, the list is by amazon, some of the headset in this list cant really compare in quality to others which are not in the list (index, g2 reverb).but they do sell more, so this is not a quality rank. its a popularity rank. with that being said i have to state also that the oculus rift in the list is a headset that Facebook is planning (why???!!) to discontinue soon.so i hope you will like the list, and feel free to kill me on the comments if you don't.

WOW. That's my reaction to my first few hours with the Oculus Quest 2. I intend to update this review as I spend more time with the device, but here's my preliminary review:
Setup: Super easy. Out of the box you have the headset, 2 controllers, a glasses spacer, and a charging cord & adapter. That's it. The controllers run on a single AA battery each, so you pull a little tab to turn those on then turn on the headset. The headset then walks you through setup and a quick update. You NEED to use the Oculus app on your phone at this point so if you don't have an Oculus app and account setup, you'll be prompted. I was up and running and updated in about 10 minutes, and the battery was at 59% out of the box.
The final step of setup has you draw a "guardian" boundary around you, which is intended to keep you from knocking into furniture and obstructions in your room. It has an option for standing as well as sitting which is a really nice feature, as a big grid will pop up and block your view if you stray close to the line.
And then you're off to VR experiences!
Oculus Rift CV1, S, Quest, and now, Quest 2 owner here. Each iteration has been an improvement from the previous one. Some step-ups were more obvious than others, and depending on how you value your dollar, the upgrades might not always measure up to your expectations. However, at this price point there shouldn’t be much of ANYTHING standing in your way of buying it... especially if you are new to VR or have an older model and are merely looking for the best visual experience in a wireless setup. The Quest 2 reigns supreme in this category.
VERY clear image quality, nearly zero SDE (screen door effect)
Great game selection (with the proper USB cable play any Steam VR game)
For two hours I did nothing but say "OH MY GOD." My wife got so sick of hearing me that she said LET ME SEE!!!! I put the headset on her, told her a couple of basic things, and she was off and running. Same reaction. OH MY GOD...OH...MY...GOD!!! I AM ON THE HOLODECK, I AM ACTUALLY ON THE HOLODECK!!!
The immersive totality exceeded my expectations in every way. Sure, you're dealing with a big thing strapped to your head, and after a while you do find yourself adjusting it a lot (you eventually learn it's not supposed to sit on your nose, it's supposed to sit on your cheek bones, which not only makes it more comfortable, it makes the view clearer). I'm hoping the premium head strap thing cleans that up.

what customer's think about this product
Out of the box, which if I can add is a very pleasant unboxing experience, you get the headset itself, two of their newer controllers, batteries and a DisplayPort to mini display port adapter, plus some manual and instructions stuff. One of the advantages this has over the rift is how simple it is to get setup. No more time being wasted trying to find the perfect spot and angle for each sensor, and hoping you have enough USB 3.0 ports. All the Rift S requires is display port and one USB 3.0 port. Once Oculus' software is installed it configures the Rift S very quickly, and the process to setup your guardian boundaries is so much easier.
This headset has exceeded my expectations. The tracking works very well, display is crisp, and its by far the best bang for your VR buck at the moment. My only minor gripe is the speakers but there's still other options to remedy that. What cracks me up are the 1 star reviews as if they did a bait and switch telling you it has HDMI. Lol. It's advertised as DisplayPort and USB 3.0. It's your own fault if you bought it not realizing your PC isn't compatible
It was waiting patiently for a VR headset worth owning and Rift S was the first one that checked all the boxes for me:
- Easy setup without base stations.
- Higher res than first generation VR.
- Reduced screen-door effect.
- Reasonable price.
I LOVE, love, love my new VR system! I fell in love with the idea of VR with Google Cardboard and recently went to a local VR bar where they had the Oculus system. That sealed the deal for me. I was set on buying it after leaving, only to find out it required external tracking sensors, which I guess I didn't notice was setup in the play space at the bar :( But, I was all set on making it work somehow in my apartment and was in the process of researching the best setup. Then I stumbled on the Rift S, and decided to hold out for it to avoid the hassle. Boy, am I glad I did!
Being a VR newbie, my standards might be lower than others, but my mind was BLOWN straight out of the box! It was a breeze to setup, and I've been playing nearly non-stop since. Beat Saber is by far my favorite game so far.
As of July 2019 Oculus released patch 1.39 this patch addresses the tracking issues that made FPS games unplayable. Fantastic job Oculus! Other issues such as freezing and blank outs have been taken care of too! I can now give this unit a 5 star rating. No need to spend 1k on other VR systems with a headset and Eco system this good! Best VR headset available. I cant go back to the original Vive or Rift, to much SDE. Don't waste your money on the Vive Pro either, The S has a better screen, better controllers and better quality than that unit too. The Index? Tough call, Valve may be better in several ways, but the glare in it is a deal breaker for me. I cant believe a company can charge 1k and have such a "glaring" issue. Rift S is the best over all VR headset for me
We went from an Oculus Rift directly over to the Oculus Rift S and the difference is night and day. The image is insanely sharper and more detailed. Only having one cord and no extra sensors is a major improvement. The headset fits really well, much more comfortable than before. The controllers take a little getting used to compared to the Rift since there's no flat place to rest your thumbs to make a fist, I guess you have to rest them on the buttons. Overall I love this VR headset. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

what customer's think about this product
The Oculus Quest is amazing. It has blown me away with its ease of use and attention to detail. This is pretty much the toy I have dreamed of since the rudimentary VR arcade games of the late 1980s. My one minor complaint is that the comfort level is merely satisfactory... I wish it was smaller and lighter, but this is a predictable concern when strapping a powerful game console to your face.
I've had almost every version of Oculus VR and was an early adopter with owning both dev kits as both a gamer and a game designer.
The Oculus Quest is a great leap forward and I would 100% recommend this headset to anyone looking to get into VR, you most likely also will only need the 64gb unless you plan on storing moves and such.
I thoroughly recommend this product to anyone interested in trying VR. You will love it!
I own a PSVR and Vive. Untethered is definitely the future of VR. Although I will always prefer my Vive for graphics and depth of gameplay, the Quest is a great, high quality solution for ease and portability. Put it on, power it up, and you're playing in VR without wires or a PC. The games are mostly arcade / cartoon like, but the quality and immersion is excellent. Audio could definitely be louder and better quality, but headphones fix this issue. Highly recommended.

what people think about this item
Do you see a lot of reviews of the Vive cosmos that are negative? Well this one isn’t. I think it’s a great headset fairly comfortable when adjusted right. The six cameras do incredible work in virtual reality. You are not Imprisoned by base units it’s just the headset and the controllers. I choose to play sitting down often mostly because I’m still learning and I want to knock everything over in my house. You can stand up, some games Require it. This is a moderately priced headset and controller box and worth the money! I’ve been having fun that I didn’t know existed.
This is the best! A bit pricier than the one I had originally wanted to get my son. However, I’m glad I chose this one and spent a little extra. This VR is great! Very good quality overall.
Completely love the cosmos it is far above my expectations due to previous reviews. I can confirm that the cosmos has fixed all its issues. Never lost tracking, the headset works perfect in bright and dark lighting conditions. Overall amazing product to own.
I absolutely love this headset, the visuals are crystal clear and the tracking is good (not great) no lighting issues. I come from the PlayStation vr, and this is a gamechanger, i use it for tilt brush and arts/design.

What people think about this product
This device is life changing. I'm a huge gamer. I'll admit, an unhealthy addict. Sitting in front of a desktop PC doesn't do my body any good at all. It's been causing me anxiety, loss of sleep and disappointment in myself. I was assuming the Vive would just add to it, but I had to have it anyway. The result were entirely unexpected. In less than a week I've exercised more than I have in years and had a BLAST doing so. I actually WANT to exercise more than my body can handle. My entire body is sore and I'm loving it.
So I’ve had this bad boy for a week now. It’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever purchased!! It was superbly packaged! It was super easy to set up! They send you (almost) every singe thing you need to set this thing up in under an hour.
If you have never experienced Virtual reality before then you are in for a super treat! The vive is so immersive! I found my self knocking knees while “walking the plank” and trying to keep my balance while “hitting a ski jump” or getting some kind of weird vr sickness while doing “360° flips in a submarine”. :D
Now! I wanted to point out I had to purchase 2 extra cords for the vive. My computer only has 1 HDMI port and 1 display port. And the vive only gives you a cable to hook into the HDMI, and my monitor has to use that port(no other option) so I had to buy a DP to MDP cord. Also the back of the head set has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. This is no real issue bc the Vive comes with some really nice ear pods, but I wanted to use my gaming headset which uses a usb cord. so I had to get a usb cord extender so my headset can reach as far as the vive does.
Okay, if you haven't experienced virtual reality with an HTC Vive you really just don't know what you are missing. It is amazing, words fail me when I try to explain just how real it is, and how amazing it is. It is so real, and so immersive, when playing a game and walking up to a cliff, I feel a fear of falling, it is just that real. I can't bring myself to step over the edge of a cliff, even though I know I won't fall, I just can't do it.
The display is just about perfect. Some people complain about the resolution, but I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I am sure you could make it more detailed, but for me it is already amazing. As for the controls and the interface, they work at real time. There is no perceivable delay between a movement in the real world, and motion in the game. The really cool thing is that the game will enhance the controller, adding buttons and information to them, that doesn't exist in reality. For example, the large round button on the wand, in some games this will turn into 4 buttons, and the battery meter will show up on the bottom of each controller, as with what hand they are, and these things are not really on there.
As for the software, since this is partnered with Valve you know that you will never have an issue getting premium games and content. There is already a number of really cool games, and the system is relatively new.
This is SO much better than the regular VIVE!
I play quite a bit of Fallout 4 VR and I thought I'd give the new VIVE PRO a shot. The difference was amazing. Everything used to look like it was smeared with KY or something. Now it's crystal clear. Soo much better!
Definitely worth the cost for the upgrade if you're an early adopter!
I have owned the PS VR, original Vive, Oculus, and Vive Pro, so I can compare them all. Yes, the Vive Pro is expensive, but if you can afford it, the Pro is worth it and beats all the rest. You may want a faster CPU and GPU to fully power this beast so you can increase the super-sampling for games like Skyrim VR. That said, the sharper graphics for a fully mudded and fine-tuned Skyrim are awe-inspiring! The screen door effect is substantially reduced increasing immersion. Those that don't notice a difference haven't done the work to mod the game.
